about wits end

Wits End Horse Trials

Wits End is a multi-disciplinary training and horse show facility. Wits End was started by Jo Young and Bill McKeen whose eventing CVs and ongoing contribution to the sport are both nationally and internationally recognized. In late 2018 Jo’s daughter Amanda Hunter purchased the farm with the intention of continuing the legacy built by Jo and Bill (with their help, of course).

In the past Wits End hosted International FEI events up to the CIC*** Level. Now, we are more focused on grass roots with our latest very successful series “Eventing Kindergarten” commencing in 2018.  In 2023 we started offering our Jumper Schooling series and this year in 2024 we will be adding a Dressage Schooling series to the calendar.

We offer schooling with your own coach by appointment. Please see our Schooling page for more details.
